The Mongolian Empire (in gold), founded by Temüjin (since 1206 entitled Chinggis Khaan) and further enlarged and consolidated by his sons and grand-sons by the means of diplomacy as well as the prevalence of the military strategy and tactics, was at the same securing trade and cultural exchange within the territory of Asia and Eastern Europe, the so-called "Pax Mongolica", for more than two centuries.                                                       Back to the monuments & design projects
